With development approval recently granted for the hydrotherapy pool in our Allied Health precinct on Atze Parade in Nuriootpa, the project team at Barossa Village is currently planning the commencement of works.

From bus trips on Mondays to Friday café visits, volunteering at Barossa Village is about showing up for one another.
What begins as a simple intention to help soon becomes something deeper. Residents become family here, and shared moments turn into lasting connections.
When time is given to others, it’s often returned many times over. There’s a real sense of purpose in these roles.
A quiet pride that comes from being part of something meaningful, and knowing you’re making a difference, simply by being there.
A true feeling of accomplishment, built on care, connection, and community.

After spending 23 years in Alice Springs, Geraldine made the move to Barossa Village - a place she has now proudly called home for the past 15 years!
From the very beginning, it’s felt special. Surrounded by beautiful people and genuine care, Geraldine has always felt supported and looked after. Her little unit is more than just a place to live, it’s home, and she’s deeply grateful for it.
One of the things she loves most is getting out on group trips. Being part of shared outings, spending time with others and staying active has been incredibly important for her mental wellbeing.
For Geraldine, Barossa Village is a place of comfort, connection, and belonging and one she truly loves!
