Hydrotherapy Pool Go Ahead & Residency Expansion

With development approval recently granted for the hydrotherapy pool in our Allied Health precinct on Atze Parade in Nuriootpa, the project team at Barossa Village is currently planning the commencement of works.

For Arthur, aviation has always been a passion, one that goes back to childhood memories of watching war planes in the skies!
On a recent Barossa Village day trip to Parafield Airport, that passion came to life again. From exploring Southern Propellers to wandering through the Classic Fighter Jet Museum and learning the history at the Heritage Museum, Arthur was in his element.
Speaking about the day, Arthur shared just how much he loved the experience and how much it means to feel that Barossa Village has adopted him into their family.
It was more than just a day out; it was a day filled with connection, shared interests and the joy of belonging.

For Eulie, life at Barossa Village is more than just a place to live, it’s a place to thrive!
A passionate artist, she’s become a valued member of the weekly art group, forming new friendships and even hosting her own workshops on Japanese art, her greatest and deepest passion.
What she treasures most is the camaraderie, not only among residents, but also with the caring staff and management who make this community feel like family.
The biggest positive for Eulie though? Independence. Having her own home, on her own terms.
“I came from a home, but this is even better.”
Eulie’s story is just one of many that show how Barossa Village is about more than housing, it’s about creating more good days.

Zach is one of the friendly faces helping to make Barossa Village such a welcoming place!
A Nuriootpa local, he rides his bike to work each day for his four-hour shift - always ready to lend a hand and brighten someone’s day.
For Zach, the value of his role lies in helping people, meeting new faces and having great conversations. The fun he has while working with Shane is a wonderful example.
He knows the impact he makes might come from a small role, but his presence and positivity make a big difference to both the residents and his fellow staff.
Zach is a smiling beacon of kindness at Barossa Village, a local hero and we’re proud to have him on the team.
