ROLLING RECRUITMENT

Recruitment for the following positions is ongoing:

  • Personal Carers – Certificate III in Aged Care, or equivalent is required and availability to work night shifts.
  • Registered Nurses – Current registration with AHPRA and practicing certificate is required. Ability to provide effective personal and clinical care that is best practice.
  • ContractorsCommunity Home Care Service providers to service clients in the Gawler, Two Wells and Barossa regions (including Kapunda, Eudunda and Mount Pleasant), delivering personal care, shopping, transport and social support services.

All roles require excellent time management skills, the ability to work well others and commitment to providing a high standard of care. A current National Criminal History clearance, registration with the NDIS and participation in our vaccination program (Influenza and COVID-19) is also mandatory.

COVID-19 Update

In line with Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities No 49) (COVID-19) Direction 2022 proof of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines are no longer mandatory to enter the Residency, or other Barossa Village sites (please note: vaccination is still considered best practice in protecting against COVID-19 and Flu).

It is mandatory to wear a suitable mask, to produce a negative RAT (kits are supplied), and be well to enter the Residency.

There are no caps on visitors to the Residency, however, visiting hours are maintained to 10am – 12noon and 1pm – 5pm (outside of these hours to be negotiated). Visiting hours allow residents to have care and services attended to support their dignity.
