Aged Care Employee Day is a National Day of Significance for Australia’s aged and community care workforce, celebrating the more than 427,000 residential care, home care, and retirement living staff who care for over 1.5 million older Australians. The initiative for Aged Care Employee Day started in 2018 when Australian aged care provider, Whiddon, recognised the need for a day dedicated solely to appreciating the dedication and hard work of the entire aged care workforce.

On this special day, we encourage you to join us in showing heartfelt appreciation to our incredible aged care employees. Consider expressing your thanks in a thoughtful card and gifting it to our staff the next time you visit the Residency.
